Delta in the Community

Our community focussed initiative.

At Delta Healthcare, we know that addiction doesn’t just affect the individual it touches families, relationships, and entire communities.

With support from the BRIC fund, we offer funded community focussed workshops and activities for those affected by addiction.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide professional-led workshops that give people practical tools, knowledge, and support in a safe, welcoming environment.

We aim to make information and education easy to access, while reducing stigma and barriers that can come with seeking help.

By creating spaces where people feel understood and respected, we help build confidence, resilience, and connection so no one has to face these challenges alone.

Impacted by Addiction- A Guide for Loved Ones

This workshop is designed for anyone who is affected by a loved one struggling with addiction.

We understand the challenges faced by family members which can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, confused, and struggling to find ways to cope.

In this session, we’ll explore how addiction impacts relationships and family dynamics, offer practical tools to help you manage your own wellbeing, and provide insight into how you can navigate this experience with greater clarity and confidence.

You’ll leave feeling more informed, with an understanding that you do not have to face this journey alone.

Holding Space: Boundaries and Self-Care for Families This Christmas

Healthy boundaries aren’t about punishment, they’re an essential act of self-care when supporting a loved one through addiction.

Addiction can deeply affect family dynamics, leaving loved ones feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to cope. This workshop provides a safe, supportive space to learn how boundaries can protect your wellbeing, reduce stress, and strengthen relationships without losing compassion. You’ll gain practical strategies, emotional insight, and confidence to set boundaries that reflect your values.

With the festive season approaching, we’ll also explore how to manage holiday pressures and maintain balance during emotionally challenging times.

Building Recoveries in Communities

Our community initiative is proudly supported by the Building Recovery in Communities (BRiC), managed by Red Rose Recovery. BRiC is a vital funding programme that empowers grassroots organisations, social enterprises, and community projects across Lancashire’s 12 district authorities.

The fund is designed to support individuals and families affected by substance misuse, helping them build stronger, healthier lives through recovery-focused activities. Grants are available for projects inspired by the recovery community and aligned with the Five Ways to Wellbeing:
Connect • Be Active • Learn • Take Notice • Give Back

A key principle of BRiC is that projects are owned by the people who create them ensuring they are meaningful, empowering, and rooted in lived experience.
